Teen Coding Club

Teens working on coding projects in the library

The Teen Coding Club is a free, weekly program where teens learn to code and build creative technology projects. Whether you have never written a line of code or you are already building apps, the Coding Club offers something for every skill level in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Current Projects

  • Build your own video game using Python and Pygame
  • Create a personal website with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Design an app prototype and pitch it to the group
  • Contribute to an open-source project on GitHub
  • Explore machine learning with beginner-friendly tools

No Experience Required

We provide the laptops, the software, and the instruction. All you need to bring is your curiosity. The club is led by library staff with support from volunteer mentors from local tech companies.
