Tech Help for Seniors

Senior learning to use a tablet with library volunteer

Our Tech Help for Seniors program provides patient, one-on-one assistance to help older adults navigate the digital world with confidence. Whether you need help setting up email, using a smartphone, video calling your grandchildren, or staying safe online, our trained volunteers are here to help.

Topics We Cover

  • Smartphone and tablet basics (iOS and Android)
  • Email setup and management
  • Video calling with Zoom, FaceTime, and WhatsApp
  • Using the library's digital resources (e-books, audiobooks, streaming)
  • Online safety: recognizing scams, creating strong passwords
  • Social media basics (Facebook, Instagram)

How It Works

Drop in during any session for help with a specific question, or sign up for the four-week Digital Literacy Basics course for a structured introduction to technology. Bring your own device or use one of ours. All sessions are free and no prior experience is required.
